Overview
While this project required us to gain further experience in integrating all we have learned in the 218 course sequence, the emphasis was one new material for 218C, particularly:
-assembly language programming
-the PIC16F690 microcontroller
-wireless communication through XBee modules
In order to use the XBee wireless modules and effectively play a soccer match between 2 teams of PLAYERs, we as a class had to design and implement a custom communications protocol. A copy of the the final protocol documentation can be found below, and check out our team's code modules for the COACH and PLAYER here:
