the Challenge
WORLD CUP (Watch Our Robots Levitate During Championship University Presentations):
We were once again contracted by ESPN0xFF, this time to develop a team of robotic soccer PLAYERs tele-operated by audience members via COACH controllers. All COACH controllers should be able to operate all PLAYERs. An emphasis was placed on solid communications via XBee radio and a class-developed communications protocol.
The competition consisted of 2 teams (Red, Green) with 3 PLAYERs per side, each with a controlling COACH. The teams competed to score as many goals as possible in 8 minutes.
